The movement in your watch is an ETA 2472 made sometime in the '60s or '70s. Movement manufacturers let watch companies stamp their name on the movement. It's a high-grade movement that ETA no longer makes. The watch is definitely a collectors item. The dial and case appear to be silver. It was most likely an expensive watch when purchased new. A jeweller could give you a verbal appraisal for free. Don't be disappointed if the appraisal seems low. The only watches that actually rise in value are the four brands that are top-tier Swiss (not Rolex). Do a search and find out what they are. You probably never heard of them. Best of luck.
