i just bought a new Breitling Super Ocean. I realized after I left the store that there is a "5" on the dial where the "2" should be. The typography of the dial numbers are such that the "5" is a mirror image of the "2" so when the numbers were applied, someone obviously applied the wrong numeral. I know the watch is not a fake. I bought it at a watch fair hosted by an authorized Breitling dealer and met the Breitling rep while I was there.
My question to collectors is whether or not the watch is more valuable as a result or should I take their offer to replace it with one without the defect?
