I have a new tag heuer aqua racer automatic. Does anyone know how long I have to wear the watch before it's "fully winded"? And on a full wind, how long can my watch run before it stops?

Automatic watches have a weight on the inside that winds the watch while you wear it, by wrist movement. The only time it will stop is when you lay it down and don't wear it for a while. They will not fully wind. Hope this helps.

The answer is simply it depends. Watches are made differently and their reserve energy is different.
A fully wound watch should run for at least 36 hours without wearing.

An automatic watch can be manually wound and should be before you wear it the first time and on days that you don't wear it. They have a mechanism inside that won't let you wind it to the point of breaking the mainspring. Give it 80-100 of your normal winds and you can be assured that it is fully wound.
